but I like to keep ’em guessing
My price is $120 an hour, for anything less than an hour my minimum is $100.
I only charge you for needle time, so if you need to take breaks or we move the placement of the stencil a bunch you won’t be charged for that time.
I do request a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold the appointment time, this deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the tattoo at the end of our appointment. If you fail to show up for your appointment or reschedule within 48 hrs of your appointment time you will lose your deposit as I likely won’t be able to fill the timeslot.
Absolutely! Tattoos are really expensive especially if they’re good because, ultimately, they are a luxury service and artists deserve to be paid for their time. But I don’t want people to feel like they are priced out of good work, that will make them feel better about being in their body, just because they don’t have a lot of money.
There are many times I will accept trade for tattoo time. This website was brought to you via a tattoo trade. Let me know in your email or consult what your budget is as well as what you may have to offer in stead.
Oh man, please don’t ask me that, oh my god, what do I do? What is my style? Who am I as an artist? Idk man look at my portfolio it’s all over the place. Please don’t make me answer that.
Yes
Custom requests rock. If you have a reference and you say I want exactly this sure okay I’ll give you exactly that, make my job easy for me I guess. But I will say the best work is when the design is collaborative and you’re willing to hear my input and work the idea into its best form.
Cover ups are tricky and will be incredibly dependent on a number of factors such as: size, how dark it is, and what you’re willing to cover it with. I can’t guarantee that I will accept the cover up until I’ve seen the piece in question.
Protect the area from sun, scratches, bruises beforehand. You can’t get a tattoo over damaged skin or it won’t heal properly and it will hurt more. Also exfoliate and lotion, like lotion everyday for a week or something before you come in, your skin will be softer and more elastic for the day of the tattoo.
Yes I’m not going to pretend it won’t. Let daddy hurt you.
If you want to use numbing cream you need to order ahead of time so that you can do a small sample somewhere on your body to see if your skin has any kind of reaction to the cream. No two numbing creams are the same, even if they come from the same company. In general I do not recommend it but I won’t say no entirely.
After 48 hrs the tattoo is no longer considered an open wound.
After 2 weeks the tattoo is considered healed enough to return to routine maintenance.
After 4 weeks the ink has settled and it is healed enough to do touch ups on the tattoo.
